Bunbury Central has become quite the place to hang out online.
Thanks to Moshi Moshi Marketing, the design is fun and funky, the functionality is immaculate, and the community is excited about it!
Following the launch of Bunbury Central in November 2018, we have had over 65 businesses in the Bunbury Central area sign up, a growth of over 600 likes on Facebook and over 200 followers on our Instagram page. We are encouraging both the community and businesses to follow the social media pages at www.facebook.com/BunburyCentral/ and www.instagram.com/bunbury_central/.
Our plan for the website is to create an umbrella marketing strategy for all Bunbury Central businesses. The strategy allows businesses to promote and advertise their services. The business sign-up is free and there are options to add your business events and promotions. If you are having trouble finding time or money to market your business, this is the most efficient and low-budget option to kick start 2019.
- Bunbury Central’s end goal is to increase the foot traffic and customer average spend to the area for the businesses and organisations. We aim to increase the visibility of the Bunbury Central (CBD) area so much that even the empty shops will get filled.
Just to demonstrate, we had a chat with Bianca Fletcher from Caf-Fez, who has been with Bunbury Central from the beginning. She stated, “I love Bunbury Central because it is the first time that I have been involved with a truly unique and authentic marketing plan. The stories that you are able to submit, not only create content for your own business to share but also create a sense of ownership and reinvigorated excitement for what we do and are a part of. It fills in pieces of the puzzle for customers who love to shop from genuine small businesses. She loved seeing the locals rediscover the Bunbury CBD.
Stylistically, the website is amazing and to be associated with something that is hip, fresh, and funky sets the stage for an identity that I am proud to be a part of. It really creates a new-found enthusiasm for businesses and community. Bunbury Central has the potential to come back in a very big way.”
Next steps are to continue growing the online community to manifest the physical engagement of local community and tourism.
